You can use keke without an account. In guest mode, your progress (which words and scenes you've practiced) is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
If you create an account β by email and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple β we use Supabase to store your account identifier and, for email sign-in, your email address and an encrypted password. Signing in with Google or Apple shares only what those providers give us to identify you (typically your email and name); we don't see your Google or Apple password. An account lets your progress sync across your devices.
Speech-to-text runs on your device and is never sent to us. Conversations in the town are written in advance; we do not send what you say or scene context to our server to generate replies.
All-Access purchases are handled by Apple's App Store via StoreKit and RevenueCat. Version 1.1.0 offers a one-time purchase; version 1.2.0 will also offer monthly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. We receive your purchase and subscription status so we can provide and restore All-Access; we never see your card details.
We may update this policy as keke changes, including when we add new account or payment features. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
